So what can companies do to bring more traffic in? Well there are many options, when it comes to advertising a business. You could by ad space on television or the radio, but that will surely cost you a pretty penny! Or you could place an ad in your local paper, or flyer.

These are all great ideas, but they may be rather expensive. If your business is lacking customers, then you might also be on a tight budget especially when it comes to advertising your business. Don't worry, there are still ways that you can advertise your business, with out spending a ton of money! You could make flyers up with coupons, and hand those out in the area of your business. You could purchase a mailing list, and send out promotional items such as calendars, magnets, or key chains.

There are tons of ways to use promotional items. There are loads of different items too. If you ran a special in your store that gave everyone a nice thing when the spend a certain amount, you could attract all sorts of people in. You can pick an item that goes with your business type and have it personalized. I personally love to get a coffee mug all dolled up with some candies and a bow or some fancy tea inside, all wrapped up pretty in cellophane.

This idea may also work with pens, too. We all know pens have a tendency of exchanging hands pretty easily, which means you have the chance of many seeing your name, or slogan on it! The only down side of choosing to use promotional umbrellas is that they will most likely only be seen when it is raining. Using bright colors, may be an easy way to over come this issue. When using promotional items, you should try to put as much important information as you can in a very small space.

The most important part of using promotional items is putting company information out for people to find. You don't know how many people may be in need of your particular services and just haven't decided where to go yet. If someone is walking around wearing your very nicely done logo then it will get noticed. As long as there is a location, whether street or web address printed on your product then you can be found. There are so many interesting ways to get out in view.
